IAUSA Meets in New York City - November 11-12, 2008

Representatives from the Irish Immigration Pastoral Centers in Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Volunteer Outreach Programs in San Diego, Seattle, and Ocean City, MD as well as representatives of the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers were present at this General Meeting of the Irish Apostolate USA on November 11-12, 2008 in New York City.  The group heard presentations on Pastoral Care, Governance, Spirituality, Immigration in view of the 2008 Elections, and the Development of a Bereavement Program. The group had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Niall Burgess, Consul General, New York, at his residence one morning.
