Currently the membership in the Irish Apostolate USA consists of 10 immigration and outreach centers.  There are Irish Immigration Pastoral Centers in Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco and Irish Outreach Centers in Milwaukee, Baltimore and Ocean City, Maryland, San Diego, and Seattle.

Irish Immigration Pastoral Centre – Boston
The Irish Pastoral Centre was founded in 1987 in response to a larger increase in Irish Immigrants in the Greater Boston area. The IPC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is funded by the Irish government and by donations from the Irish community. The IPC is run by dedicated staff and a number of Irish emigrant volunteers.

The centre strives to assist Irish Emigrants in varying capacities and facilitate their transition to life in America so that it may be a positive experience for them.

Irish Immigrant Service of Milwaukee at The  Irish Cultural and Heritage Center of Wisconsin Milwaukee's Irish community invites you to visit the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center (ICHC) located in the landmark Grand Avenue Congregational Church building just west of downtown.  It now is the home of a wide range of cultural and educational programs and the site for concerts, lectures, art exhibits, dances, Irish music classes, and a center for genealogical research.

New York Project Irish Outreach:
Project Irish Outreach is located at the Aisling Irish Center, 990 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10467.  Sr. Christine Hennessy, a social worker at the center, is available for confidential consultations from Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm.  Information, referral and advocacy is offered on a variety of matters including social service entitlements, medicaid and medicare information/referral, maternity services, addiction prevention and treatment, crisis intervention and pastoral counseling.

Project Irish Outreach is based in mid-town Manhattan at the Catholic Center. Confidential information, including information and referral on legal immigration matters, social services and entitlements, maternity services, and crisis intervention is provided.  Legal immigration representation is available in Catholic Charities Department of Immigration Services.  To prepare for any future legalization program, ask about ways that you can stay informed and be ready, should legalization be signed into law sometime in the future.

Ocean City, MD: (May-September)
Irish Student Outreach Center
Every spring a team of volunteers welcomes Irish students who are in the USA on J-1 visas at the local Social Security office.  They distribute flyers offering assistance and notify students of local ordinances re: housing, drinking, noise, etc; and provide the schedule of Masses for the four Catholic Churches in Ocean City.  The volunteers assist students in obtaining affordable housing and provide a weekly breakfast or dinner.  Students are given copies of the office business card with the hot-line telephone number.
